Expression profiles in matched primary and recurrent serious ovarian carcinomas.
Little is known about the molecular characteristics of tumors present at relapse in advanced stage ovarian cancer patients following treatment with standard chemotherapy. Such knowledge could impact salvage therapy selection. This study evaluated the expression of protein markers associated with treatment responsiveness in matched primary and recurrent ovarian carcinoma specimens.
