The Clearity team welcomed a new director to the board. Dorian Hirth is currently Senior Vice President, Human Resources and Facilities Operations for Nektar Therapeutics and her experience spans 20 years in biotechnology. Ms. Hirth will bring her extensive experience and passion to advance Clearity's mission.
"Family members of mine were affected by cancer and so I have personally experienced the anxiety this causes and that those with cancer and their families are desperately looking for help and answers to come out ahead in this battle.
What draws me to Clearity is that it is made up of dedicated and engaged people who care that ovarian cancer specifically has not had the visibility and momentum behind it to generate the swell of supporters that say breast cancer or lung cancer has generated.
I am humbled and elated to be joining the Board of Clearity Foundation because of my passion to bring awareness to others on how they can make a real difference to a cause that literally can be life altering," said Ms. Hirth.
